About The Dance Director

Hello! I am Chelsea Gilbert and I am Palm Springs High School's Dance Director and Dance Team coach. I am an alumni of Palm Springs High School and former PSHS Dance Team member and Cheerleader. Growing up here in Coachella Valley, I danced at one of our local dance studios since the age of three and studied a variety of different dance styles. My summers were spent at different dance summer intensives such as ABT Alabama, Joffrey Ballet in Texas, and ImPulsTanz in Vienna Austria. After graduating high school, I attended the University of Santa Barbara where I was apart of the touring Dance Company and earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Dance and a minor in clinical psychology in 2013. I have also earned my Masters in Education from UMass Global. I am a proud mother of two beautiful girls.
